From Plot to Pantry: Tomato Sauce

Today I made my second batch of tomato sauce using my homegrown tomatoes.
I use the recipe from the Edmonds book.

I have also made a big batch of tomato, courgette (from the garden) and onion (not from the garden) and put that in the freezer for Winter.
Will try to get back sometime soon with a more informative post about what we've been up to over the last couple of months.


  1. ahhh yum! yay for garden produce! all my tomatos (aout 20 plants) got really bad blight - pooh!

  2. Good on you! I'm hoping to do more of the garden to plate thing - or perhaps more farmer's market to plate for me as I'm lacking in the green fingers department. :) Jenny
