Mid-Week Meal Idea: French Onion Soup

Last night for dinner I made this French Onion Soup. I used a recipe I had seen on the Better Homes and Gardens programme. I couldn't find a written recipe but you can follow the video of it here
it makes a pretty big amount-more than enought for t 3 adults and 2 children. The only thing I would change is to put less butter and oil. I reduced it but still could have used less.
Everyone enjoyed it. The girls liked slurping up the broth soaked cheesy french bread.

the birdsnest

So if you liked the look of the beautiful clothing I showed my baby boy dressed in here and the lovely natural handmade toys and gifts I showed here then here's some good news...
I have set up a Felt shop for my Mum's exquisite sewn baby clothes, waldorf-style toys and unique gifts.
The shop is called the birdsnest and you can find it here. Her things are exceptionally well priced (under-priced in my opinion for the quality of materials, uniqueness and workmanship).

Here's a taste of some of the items available and some that I have yet to list...
 Linen baby trousers
 Acorn baby shirt
 Multi-purpose Drawstring bag
 Stack of bean bags
 Knitted penguin
 Knitted pixie finger puppets
 Felt balls with bell inside
 Wool fabric pin cushion
 Knitted cupcake pin cushions
 Knitted pocket sized pixies
Knitted pixie with baby in backpack
Knitted chooky tea cosy
