Our hens have started producing a decent number of eggs-we have 7 hens and some days we get 7 eggs! Makes the amount of food we have been buying them finally seem worth it...well almost. If I divided the cost of food purchased by the number of eggs collected they would be VERY expensive eggs. But it is fun to collect them from the hen house and nice to know that they have come from healthy happy hens. The egg box is chocka and I have been enjoying some mushroom and cheese omelettes.
