Priorities

I have had a piece of paper with these words written on it pinned to a noticeboard for ages. I am having a tidy up and was just about to throw it out but thought I'd share the quote (unfortunately I don't know who it belongs to)
"A hundred years from now it will not matter
what my bank balance was,
the sort of house I lived in,
or the kind of car I drove...
but the world may be different because
I was important in the life of a child."
